A Relaxing Hour

Spending Some Time in Dreamland

001

Hi Everyone, I’ve been working hard lately and decided to treat myself to some relaxing time in my studio. I changed my ‘work’ studio into a writing, reading and dreaming studio last year. This is now my almost favorite room in the house. I have to drag myself out of it, at times. :-)

009

There is nothing like a cup of tea to soothe my soul.

004

Also, a couple bites of chocolate. I can’t eat much chocolate…so a little bite is a real treat.

005

My favorite magazines….I am so behind in my reading. Yikes!

006

This picture shows the delicate edge to the tray. I love, love lacy trays!

I hope you find a bit of time to relax today. As women, we just don’t make enough time for ourselves. Thanks for your visit.

Your lovely studio would be hard to leave. It looks so cozy and inviting. Hope your enjoy a little rest and catch up on the magazines. It is a very dark dreary day here. I'm turning on lights and lighting candles to brighten things up a bit.

Oh how pretty! I tend to be drinking my tea while doing 2 other things at the same time. It is nice when we are good to ourselves...it just usually ends up at the bottom of the "to do" list.

Holy cow Barb you hit the nail on the head when you said as women we dont make enough time for ourselves. Life has been no less than chaotic at my house for reasons too long to bore anyone with here! But Im trying so hard to do this and coming to your amazing blog and seeing these beautiful serene pictures helps me to feel calm and peaceful when Im really not able to in my own home (although Im trying so hard to get there!) thanks as always for inspiring me and providing me peace and calm!!

Thanks sweet friend for the delightful comments..
am sorry that my blog is giving you fits..
I have no idea what could be the problem..
You are the first to have mentioned this quirkiness.
hope it is just a blogger thing and can be fixed real soon..
It's just not any fun having you kicked out!!
love and hugs..

I'm just a bit jealous of anyone who has a space of their own, whatever shape it takes. I'm going to add that to my wish list and work on making it happen.
