Last November, my husband surprised me with this country-styled Farmhouse hutch for our kitchen. I had my eye on it for some time. It is large and fills nearly the entire end wall of the room. I will probably paint it Cottage White at some time but for now, I am really enjoying the country feel of the stain.
One of the things I adore about it is the fact that I get to change it out so often….for all the seasons….so you can see I am rushing Spring a bit. :-)
White pitchers of any size or shape are one of my favorites. I just adore them!
I incorporated several pieces of my pink milk glass collection into the hutch.
I am not much of a mug person but these Lenox mugs just called out my name…they are really like elongated cups.
Years ago, when I entered my first craft show with friends, I was the only one with all Victorian things. All the others had Country things. One of my dearest friends leaned over to me and whispered….”Before this show is over, Country will steal your heart.” I laughed thinking, yea, right! Guess what? She was right……I love Country things and have managed to find a way to incorporate pieces all over my home. So….this hutch thrills my heart. ♥
