My Creative Space
Hello, I am so glad to welcome you in to my Studio….my creative space. A space that fills me with joy every single day.

Please come in and sit in my chair while we take our tour…..♥
Several years ago my husband announced to me that he would build me a studio if I would design it. Could it be true? I was beside myself with complete joy. He has building experience and I have design experience…so it was a match made in Heaven. The pictures below are the result of his hard work and talent. He built the room, which took one year, to my exact specifications….to say I was delighted with it would be a huge understatement. Here’s to my darling Ron….the absolute best husband ever!
The room is large so I am blessed to have an area to sit and relax….listen to music or read. I keep some of my favorite books close at hand.
While we are over here, let me show you the thread rack Ron built for me.
The other counters are built in but I decided to have this one made into a table that would provide me with the option of moving it to different areas of the room. I decided to have the counters made in pink…a decision that was rare for me. I ALWAYS put big-ticket items in neutrals…..but pink it was. I have never regretted it.
If you are a regular reader of Bella Vista, you know I am a seasonal gal and I have lots of decorative pieces. I designed shelves from where you see above to the very high ceiling (12 feet high) to hold my overflow decor pieces from the house.
There are also many shelves that hold overflow craft items that I did not photograph.
This is a very large farm table (I just adore it) that I placed smack in the middle of my studio. It serves many and varied purposes….anything from a desk to laying out patterns for sewing.
I love lots of ‘things’ on my table to inspire me.
I use this area for paper crafting and card making.
I am crazy for stamps and have more than I can count!
Beautiful papers give me such joy and I especially love Brenda Walton…..her things are filled with joy!

I do decorative painting in this area and I asked Ron to include a sink. I was so tired of going into the kitchen, bathroom and laundry room to change my paint water. What a blessing this is! I have used this poor sink to death! Of course, this was a big undertaking for such a simple little sink…..plumbing always is!

This is my silk flower storage for arrangements I put together in the house.
I do hope you have enjoyed my studio. The room contains a few areas that I did not photograph…those are waiting for another time. ;-)
Thank you so much for visiting with me. I always love having you!
