A Wonderful Magazine
I purchased this wonderful new magazine over the weekend and can hardly take my eyes off it. Although the cover hints of Christmas, the magazine also covers Fall and Thanksgiving in detail. The pictures are just out of this world.
I am a pumpkin loving girl….anything with pumpkins sets my heart a flutter! :-)
The vignettes in the magazine are to die for and the ideas just abound.
Isn’t this gorgeous?!!!!! Be still my heart.
I was sitting up in bed with it last evening and my husband just kept asking if I was ever going to turn that light out? Men! Ha.

ReplyDeleteToo funny! This is an ALL too frequent occurrence in my house - me up late in bed...completely absorbed in a book or magazine that I just can't put down!! Especially if it's pertaining to the holidays! My heart literally skips a beat whenever I let my mind think ahead to Thanksgiving! The smell of a turkey roasting in the oven, the site of freshly baked pies on the buffet, creamy whipped potatoes, steamed vegetables, the sounds of the Macy's parade and holiday movies emanating from the TV into the kitchen, fallen leaves swirling outside my windows...ahhhhhhh, it's enough to give me goosebumps!!!

I think I bought something similar last year and saved it...I have to look. It looks like it is chock full of ideas and I love that!

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing that glimpse of what's inside with us. I do love pumpkins and although mine are the artificial kind I love decorating with them. We just have to make the most of these lovely fall days and bring that color inside a bit.

Yes, Barb! I am in totally agreement. I bought this mag and it has been in my lap every time I sit down. I have already made that wreath in the first picture and I love the compote with the grapes spilling out of it. I love a still life tablescape. Very inspiring indeed. Victoria just keeps doing great work.

ReplyDeleteDear Barb, This is actually the second of a new series of Victoria Classics. You should try to buy the first issue "Victoria Classics Rooms of Bliss" It is awesome. Still cant put it down. I know they will be coming out with more. The pictures are from all the previous Victoria of the past. I'm so thankful I have every copy printed.
