Autumn Touches Around the House
Hello Everyone…seems like I have been away forever! I have a couple of things in my personal life that are taking up most of my time right now. Yikes! Life does often get in the way of blogging, doesn’t it? :-)
If you are a regular reader of Bella Vista, you already know how much I love my Byers Choice Carolers. I have been unpacking my Fall carolers and I’m having so much fun…they are my favorites. I also have a large and growing Christmas collection.
This is my newest Caroler…she is the Harvest Good Witch….I’m only showing a peek and of course, I will place her in a Halloween vignette…..:-)
She was designed by Joyce Byer (the owner of the company) and Jill Bauer, QVC host. This is the Good Witch for 2010…they are planning to do a Harvest Good Witch for years to come.
(Added August 2011) This is the Harvest Good Witch for 2011….designed by Joyce and Jill; she just arrived and I am so delighted with her. I have already displayed her on the den mantel. {Can’t help myself.} Most of my Fall decorating will be in light colors this year but she still makes my heart sing. I will, of course, place her in a Halloween vignette for the young ones that visit for the holiday. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I adore the little children and all their costumes! :-)
Have you seen this Victoria? I am drooling.

I love your carolers. What a delightful way to decorate for fall. I don't have anything like that here at my house but it is looking like fall for sure. We've had some cool days and I've been burning my apple and pumpkin scented candles often. They warm the house with their glow and fragrance.

I don't know if you have heard the news about my blog. It disappeared last Tuesday. Apparently someone liked my domain.com as well as I did. The link now goes to a commercial site. ReplyDeleteThe Bliss magazine is pretty much the only one I buy anymore. Every page delights me even if some of them aren't my taste. They just show everything in such a nice way.

ReplyDeleteDid I ever tell you that George and I went to the Byers Choice Caroler's factory and store? Oh, my! We both loved it. I'll have to dig those pictures out of a file. My favorite part of the whole day was walking throught their gingerbread village. I could have moved in and lived in that little land of sweetness!!
