That "southern" attitude in living is what I sense every time I visit this blog. That and the beauty I see here, is what has me coming back time and time again. Loved it!

Morning Barb! Since I'm a northerner I can attest now that I live in the "almost" South (I'm still not sure if WV is considered South?lol) that the words on this sign are absolutely true!lol especially the long word one!!!lol I must say the people are without a doubt friendly!! I've also been picking up the "y all" thing and everyone has become a "hun" or "dear" - things I neva used to say!!!lol So I guest "y all have adopted me"!?? Still can't master "fried" chicken though!!! Hope your day is a fun one - Sincerely, Jeannette
ReplyDeleteHi again! I forgot to answer your question: My hair turned out ok after hubby helped me!lol It's growing fast thankfully so I'm going to go to Virginia to get it cut next time instead of WV!lol My boss gets hers cut down the street and they do a good job sooo! Hugs - Jeannette BTW I love this background paper - I think I told you that before but it is soooo peaceful everytime I pop in for a visit - very soothing color!!!
ReplyDeleteMe again! I get it! It's what Southern is SUPPOSED TO BE!!lol Oh well 2 things still make you Southern!lol Plus you were born as far South as you can go without turning into something else!!!lol Your secret's safe with me!!!lol Hugs - Jeannette
ReplyDeletePlease add me. I can hardly wait.
ReplyDeleteI want one of those signs, too. ;-)
Barb, I love, love, love this sign; so true. I especially like the part about the accent being sweeter. I told you before you sound sooo... cute. Where did you get the sign?
ReplyDeleteBarb,

What a wonderful plaque. It looks great displayed there too.
ReplyDeleteI have that saying and love it! It's framed and the glass broke, I need to get it out again!

Barb, I have the exact sign in my kitchen! I got mine at Crackerbarrel last year. I couldn't resisit it. Pecan pie IS a staple, after all!

ReplyDeleteLove, love, LOVE your sign.... so perfect. When we go to Cracker Barrel to eat, my daughter always orders mac and cheese AND mashed potatoes as her two veggies... such a southern girl!
