The Soothing Qualities of Blue and White
Okay…I have everything done that I need to do for today…so I am on my way to the porch with a favorite magazine and a cup of cinnamon tea. Yes, it is warm outside but I will turn on the ceiling fan and pretend it is not. Ha!!
There’s nothing like a cup of tea to soothe my spirit.
I am going to treat myself to a shortbread cookie……my favorite. Shhhhh, don’t tell anyone.
I wait every year for the Victoria blue and white issue. Look at that cover! Pure bliss!
I hope you are having a wonderful day!
I am linking to Blue Monday hosted by Sally at Smiling Sally. Please visit her blog for a list of participants. Thanks for hosting Sally!!

Hi Barb, love your blues! I collect little cups and saucers and I love your pattern! It's so pretty. I too love decorating, gardening and cooking and I am at my happiest and best when I am being creative, it's fun, isn't it?

Barb, What a lovely post and I LOVE your tea cup. I subscribe to Victoria as well and it is one of my favorite magazines. What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon but to spend it with a lovely cup of tea and a favorite read. BTW, what is the name of that pattern? Not that I need another set of china BUT that is a beautiful pattern.

ReplyDeleteMy mom used to say something hot cooled her down better than something cold. She was a coffee drinker no matter what the weather. I stick to iced tea most of the time. Enjoy your rest on the porch.
