Fitz and Floyd Beauties
I really wanted to be a part of the beautiful tabletop vignettes this week but I am up to my ears in redoing and painting on my sitting room….I am tooooo excited! So I am posting a tabletop from last Spring. These are my Fitz and Floyd parrots that I have had for many years. I just adore them and they are always a part of my spring decorating.
The colors are so soft…they simply ‘melt’ into my spring vignettes.

I don't know what it is about ceramic figurines but I just love them all. These two are so life like I can hear the squawking all the way out here!
I'm glad the damage to your sitting room wasn't worse. Any reason to redo a room is a silver lining, right? I was a bit scared with the last storms because we had a leak above my kitchen cabinets (which go all the way to the ceiling). Water was running down the front of them. My dad was able to seal the leak around a vent in the roof and doesn't think we need to take the cabinets down. I'm thinking about changing the wallpaper but didn't want to get new cabinets!

Oh My! They are beautiful. I love their soft colors - not the usual Parrot color that you think of. They look like they're "dressed" especially for Spring!
Oh my, the birdcage is just so pretty and I love the berries twined around it. Your F & F parrots are stunning. What gorgeous pieces. I think these would have a place of honor in my home year round. I have missed four of your lovely posts and I'm so sorry because I have missed a lot. I always enjoy coming here so much. The last time I was here...I had to have a bunny like yours...and now I do! He just arrived a couple of days ago and I love him. He is sitting on the table waiting to be presentable.
He may not be just like your sweetie..but he is certainly close.
I love those parrots. Fitz and Floyd always has something that grabs me....always.
Trying to catch up...as usual. :) Now back to seeing what I've missed!

Good heavens! I was just about to scroll off when I caught sight of your "Annie!" I had an Annie just exactly like yours. Name and all. She had been gone for many years now..but for a second...it hurt! I adored her.
