A Sweet Table Just for the Two of Us

Valentines is a very special day for my husband and myself. We were engaged to be married on this special holiday. We usually go out to celebrate but I like to set up a little table for dessert just for the two of us anyway. How about some strawberries, some chocolates and a little wine? You can’t beat that, can you?!

Oh Barb, this table took my breath away! It is so soft and romantic. I loved your stacked cake plates with the strawberries. Do you have pink champagne in the glasses? Everything is so pretty in those soft pinks. It reminds me of Strawberry Ice Cream.

Morning Barb! Well it's a little early for wine (7:45am) but it's never too early for choc/strawbs!!lol Just beautiful and so special a day for you two! You never cease to amaze with your table arrangements!They are all so different!!!I hope you are putting together a scrapbook of just your arrangements???I mean a paper one?one that you should publish!! Thanks for your concern! The weather Wed was awful awful! I've driven in lots of snowstorms but this was the worse; could not see the road and had people coming at us head on - we just turned around and went home - 20 minutes turned into an hour and a half!(thank goodness for the only garage open with a ladies room - should not have drank so much coffee on the way!lol) Well I'm off to get busy since I'm not going out driving!! I have seen Tinker's beautiful photo here and he is gorgeous. I'm so happy you had many wonderful years with him. Orange kitties are such big personalities aren't they? Chestnut is my *child* for sure. He does remind me a lot of Tinker.

A softly lit, romantic table set for two...does your husband realize what how fortunate he is to have someone as gifted as you? I am convinced that every time I visit this blog I realize how much beauty you add to every table, whether it is with pastels or with bright colors. Today's tablescape is once again beautifully done.
