Hello Everyone

How Are Your Christmas Plans Coming Along?

005

Hi Everyone, thought I would pop in for a minute and see how everyone is doing. Like most of you, I am up to my ears in Christmas decorations. Yikes….what a mess and what fun! My hubby and I are also switching out the furniture in two rooms of our home and this is like moving……why do I get these wild hairs!!!!! Ha! Also, I am in the process of learning Windows Live Writer…..so hope this comes out okay.

I hope you are well and enjoying your Thanksgiving leftovers. I will be back to regular blogging in just a bit.

I have taken a few days off to rest and attend to a project so I am dreadfully behind in visiting. Hang in there with me. I missed you guys!

Tablescape Thursday

The picture above is a Rooster Tablescape that I accidentally deleted....ooops. Click to enlarge.

Hi and welcome to Tablescape Thursday hosted by Susan at Between Naps On The Porch. Please visit her blog for a list of participants.

Country Rooster Tablescape

Many of you know I love roosters, so when I saw these Country Living Collection rooster dishes at KMart, I knew they had to be mine!

I chose the cream colored dinner plate because I adore anything cream but the set also comes with a solid red dinnerplate.

The rooster napkin rings are from TJ Maxx...aren't they cute?! The flatware is from Bed Bath and Beyond and the napkins are from Old Time Pottery.

The compotes are antiques and I have had the rooster set for years.

I wanted my table to be very serene so I was careful with my centerpiece and I wanted the dishes to take center stage so I chose not to use chargers this time.

I am so glad you stopped by. Thank you for your wonderful and thoughtful comments. Come back soon!
