Three or More Tuesday

Hi and welcome to Three or More Tuesday hosted by Tam at The Gypsy's Corner. Please visit her blog for a list of participants.

Byers' Choice Carolers

I have been collecting Byers' Choice Carolers for about five years. I am quite passionate about my collection. The fact that they are handmade is so very special to me. The dress of the Carolers is late nineteenth century during the Dickens era.

The Fall Carolers are my very favorites and they are much harder to find than the Christmas Carolers. Since Fall is my favorite season....these are so special to me.

My Christmas Collection is large....just ask my husband. Ha.

Here, I have some of my Carolers displayed on the family room mantel last Christmas. I do hope you enjoyed my collection. Thank you so much for stopping in.

Accent Chairs

I thought you might enjoy seeing a couple of my children's accent chairs. I have been collecting them for years and they are all over the house. I love how they soften a corner or a tiny spot that is difficult for a large piece of furniture to fit in.

These two are my favorites and I wouldn't take anything for the top one. I just adore it!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend.

Tablescape Thursday

Hi, welcome in to another wonderful week of Tablescape Thursday hosted by Susan at
Between Naps on the Porch. Please visit her blog for a list of participants and all the lovely tablescapes.

My Golden Tablescape

I truly love these colors....they remind me of my favorite season....Fall.

The chargers were found in Home Goods....how I adore that store! I purchased the dinner plates, salad plates and bowls from TJ Maxx.

The flatware is Reed and Barton in a golden finish that is so lovely.

The wooden ducks I used in the centerpiece are from the Valerie Parr Hill Collection on QVC. The white pitcher and flowers are from Michaels.

This is a side view of all the wonderful layers!

I hope you enjoyed my table as much as I enjoyed putting it together. I will probably use this very tablescape for a dinner this coming weekend. Thanks for stopping by.

Tea Time Tuesday

Hi everyone....welcome to another Tea Time Tuesday hosted by Barb at Grits and Glamour. Please visit her blog for a complete list of all the participants and all the tea goodies!

Tea and Reading

When I really want a treat....I take to my bedroom chaise with a cup of tea and some reading material. Yes, I 'take to'.....after all, I am Southern and these things are a big deal. Ha..Ha!

The dessert plate and teacup are Royal Albert...in the Old Country Roses pattern. The glass tray, I have had for years...don't remember where I purchased it.

Alexandra Stoddard is one of my favorite writers and I have ALL but two of her books...that is a lot of reading material. I also adore Country Living Magazine.

I always like a little candlelight. It is truly amazing to me how a candle can settle you down and help you to relax.

I hope you enjoyed my tea tray with me and please be sure to visit all the ladies. Thanks so much for stopping by.

Birthday Cake

I wanted to share with you the birthday cake my husband had made for me. The decoration is a gal sitting at her computer! That little stinker knows me too well. Ha.

This past Saturday, while antique shopping, my hubby and I discovered this little outdoor cafe nestled between two shops. I love the red umbrellas! It was charming.

How about this color?! Wow!

Isn't this pretty and with a lovely Country feel.

This yard bike is made of metal....I am thinking it would look great in my yard. Oh, my!

Spring Kitchen Shelves changed to:

My Summer Kitchen Shelves

I change out my kitchen shelves seasonally and switched them from Spring to Summer today. Actually, I just started but I have so much to do that it is now or never to post them. Ha. They will be tweaked many more times in the next weeks or so.

I wanted a light and airy look so seashells were just the ticket.

I hope you enjoyed looking and thanks so much for your visit. Hope everyone has a wonderful Met Monday!
