Blue Birdcage and Blue Books

I have decorated this blue birdcage in any number of ways through the years and it has been in almost every room of my home at one time or another. I have even used it for a centerpiece filled with faux beaded fruit.

This is a wonderful book chock full of decorating ideas for blue and white.


I love the blue cover on this book....it makes me feel good just to look at it!

My gratitude comes from two sources...one divine and one human. The divine one is God. He is the beginning and end for me and I live my life close to Him. I try hard to always consider what I have and be grateful for it. The second and human source is my husband of almost thirty years. Ron has taught me more about being grateful and staying positive than anyone I have ever known. I do consider myself a grateful person and I am so thankful for this.

More Roosters!

Look what I found in Hobby Lobby...more roosters! Okay, I am sick and will admit it. Ha. I love roosters!! This picture will go somewhere close to my stove....don't know where yet.

These little roosters are cast iron and weigh a lot....you wouldn't want to drop them on your foot! I decided to get one in red and one in green....I like variety.

Blue Lamp with Toile Shade

I love this lamp and especially the blue toile shade. I collect rooster lamps and have them everywhere.

What home is complete without a blue rooster? Ha. I love mine and use him in a variety of decorating schemes.

Blue and White Pottery

I absolutely love blue and white pottery and have it everywhere in my home. It goes with everything and you will see lots of it in decorating magazines. The pieces I have range from pricey to just a few dollars.....I just mix them all right together and have fun!
