ReplyDeleteHere's a gift idea...last Christmas I got my husband an Ipod Touch. He downloads books on to it and listens to them while he exercises. He absolutely loves it and uses the Ipod every day!
On the bright side, he should have the appropriate tool by now to fix everything! That's a good thing.

Pass happy wishes on to your hubby. I also have a tool happy man. You are right it really get difficult after awhile to come up with something dfferent but with all the new digital tools on the market their always seems to be something new out there. Maybe a new book with ideas for new projects.

I hope your Hubby has a Happy Birthday. My Husband and Son are that way too. My Husband was a mechanic for alot of years before going to Driving and our Son is a mechanic. Now I can talk about tools. They have so many. Good Luck on finding some for your Hubby.

Happy Birthday to your hubster! Mine just had a birthday last Sunday. May I suggest that rather than you buying him another tool, might he like a gift certificate to his favourite toys for big boys store? That way he can pick what he wants. Like you, I don't know one tool from the next and I'd be completely at sea trying to chose one.

I forgot to thank you for the peach cobbler recipe! It really was easy and my family loved it! I don't eat peach cobbler (or peach anything) so I didn't do a taste test myself, but my husband said it was the best he's ever tasted! And my brother-in-law who NEVER compliments anyone on anything said it was very good! And everyone went back for seconds!

The one thing that can cheer me up as I watch summer come to a close is... the anticipation of fall and all the autumnal colors that come with it and the inspiration that it provides for creatingfall vignettes such as yours.
Hope you find the perfect (B-day) power tool. Just as important as it is for a woman to have her many collections of essential tools, including purses and shoes in that category...so should our hubby's have there's.

Trust me, I know that can be almost impossible, especially when they already have almost every tool invented and when they need a tool they just go out and buy it. Men are so hard to buy for and the older they get the more expensive their gifts are. LOL. Us girls have nothing on them!

Did you have any luck finding your hubby a new tool? Mine just bought himeself a new chainsaw and it's not even his birthday ha!
