Hello and welcome to Tablescape Thursday hosted by Susan at

Farmhouse Tablescape

As soon as I saw the farm scenes on these dinner plates...I knew I had to design a Farmhouse Tablescape.

The dinner plates are a soft grey black and were purchased at TJ Maxx. The chargers are from Home Goods.

The placemats have a striped and floral side and the striped side was the one I chose for my country table. They were found at Ross. The flatware is from HomeGoods. The napkins and water goblets are from Old Time Pottery. The napkin rings are from Southern Hospitality.

All the goodies in the wire basket are faux.

This napkin ring is made by Fitz and Floyd and I placed it on the table for an extra pop of color. I love the tomato!

The three wooden ducks are by the Valerie Parr Hill Collection on QVC. I love ducks almost as much as I love roosters. I tied on black and white checked wired ribbon to dress them up a bit. I like 'dressy' ducks. Ha!

I do hope you enjoyed my Farmhouse Tablescape. Thanks for stopping in and taking a look. Have a lovely Thursday.

What a beautiful tablescape. I would love to try this too. The brown is a lovely choice with the other accessories.
I just love all your beautiful dishes....and your table scape is to die for. I always wonder what you ladies do with all your dishes. I have a lot of cupboard space but when I see everyones many, many dishes....wow, where do you put them?
Now I have to go visit your Outdoor Wednesday post and see what you did there.
Oh Barb, I love, love, love it. I have those same plates and they are just wonderful. I love the way you've done the tablescape. Everything is just so pretty. Your placemats, napkins and napkin rings are just perfect with the dishes. The ducks are wonderful and I love the ribbon neckties they are wearing. Just toooooo cute. Hugs, Marty
Barb - This all just beautiful. It looks like a great setting for fried chicken, potato salad, and fresh fruit. I love it. Thanks for sharing.

Hi! I have been perusing your blog. Wow, what gorgeous tablescapes and photos! You are a real artist. Whew. I am inspired...Not sure what I will do, but I will definitely do something.
Wow - I LOVE your blog!
God bless!
Oh what a charming tablescape! I always love those dishes whenever I have seen them in HomeGoods -- so beautiful. And you have paired them with placemats, napkins and accessories that really accentuate their country charm. A wonderful table! :)
This is charming adn the dishes are perfect. Well done!
What a beautiful tablescape Barb! I love the black and white dishes, the ducks...oh, just EVERYTHING.
I was tempted by these very same dishes yesterday! Beautiful!
Hi Barb, I can't believe I've been missing your blog all these months! I adore your black and white tablescape and your trademark ducks! Been browsing through your past posts and love your style. I'm jealous you live in central florida. I grew up in Winter Park.. went to WPH..(go wildcats!) and I miss it!
Love you tablescape! Love the main dishes. The bows on the ducks are so great.
Your table is gorgeous! Your plates are amazing and of course I love your ducks, great job!
Those are the best dressed ducks in all of blogland. Great plates. The farm scene is so cute. Just love it.
Dawn
Barb, each time I swing in for a visit I remember I have the same ducks. I also have some of the same country scene dishes. Girl you have certainly inspired me to get them out and try and work something up..lol. I hope you missed the incoming storm last night... hugs ~lynne~
LOVE the ducks on the table.. GREAT table!!!
I love it! So country and cozy! The pics on the plates are great...I love TJMaxx and HomeGoods! Today is my first try at Tablescape Thurs.
Your dressy ducks are sweet, and the perfect guests to dine at your pretty table. The faux food fooled me. I was thinking your napkins would be getting stained by berry juice.
I do love your farmhouse tablescape! And your perky geraniums and your faux food! Where did you get the faux food, would you mind telling me? Cause I rarely cook, and it might look like I actually used my dishes for more than tablescaping if I could add little touches like that! I love those plates; great plates! I wish we had Home Goods. But alas, we do not. Love the flatware, and all the goodies on your elegant table! And of course your ducks!
Brenda

I love your farmhouse motif!
What a wonderful flair for coordinating you have!
You're a decorator? You tablescape like one!
I'll have to read your profile.
I very much enjoyed your farmhouse table. The dressed up ducks are so cute and I'm wondering if TJ Maxx has those plates available online. We don't have one here but I LOVE those plates!
Christi
Barb,
I love how you mixed the fabric and dish patterns. Very pleasing to the eye. And I LOVE the tomato! What a beautiful tablescape! You are quite inspiring.
Jane (Artfully Graced)
Your table is so pretty. Like the bows around the ducks necks. :) And lunch is at what time?
Glenda
What a darling tablesetting Barb, I love the farmhouse look sooo much! The plates are so sweet, and the ducks so dapper! The Fitz & Floyd tomato napkin ring is sooo cute well...I just want it!!
Very well done girlfriend!!
Have a wonderful day!
Sherri:)
Hi Barb,
It's all wonderful ... but I think the ribbons you tied around the ducks' necks are my very favorite element --- the perfect finishing touch!
Thank you, as always, for your kind comments and support!
Bye for now,
Bill
I just love your farmhouse table with all the roosters and ducks. What a cute idea. Thanks for sharing it with us. Amy :)
Barb,
I love your farmhouse tablescape. I wanted to buy those plates but I already have 2 different black & white sets, so I didn't. I have those same place mats from Ross. I forgot that they were striped on the back. And I love your duckies with the ribbons. Too cute!! I wish I would have participated this week, but I went swimming instead of playing with my dishes. Maybe next week.
Kim
Oh my, Barb. This is too lovely. The black and white color scheme is perfect for a farmhouse look!
Hi Barb. I love those plates. Those ducks are adorable too. I had to chuckle when you said they were a Valerie Parr-Hill. I am such a QVC girl but I don't remember seeing the ducks. It must have been during the period I was trying to ween myself which didn't last very long :)
Take care, Susan
Very pretty, Barb, I love the way you put everything together so perfectly. Hugs, ~cindy s~
That looks great! I love the checks..and your ducks all dressed up..so cute!

I do have both in my area and am heading out today for shopping spree!lol I think I'll see if I can pick up another Alexandra book too for some reading on the deck tomorrow!! Hope you have a great weekend; I'm waiting for cooler weather!!!lol Let you know if I find the plates! Thanks again - Sincerely, Jeannette
