I thought you might enjoy seeing a couple of my children's accent chairs. I have been collecting them for years and they are all over the house. I love how they soften a corner or a tiny spot that is difficult for a large piece of furniture to fit in.
These two are my favorites and I wouldn't take anything for the top one. I just adore it!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend.

ReplyDeleteRegarding your comment on my blog...I would never ride a motorcycle if they scared me. I totally understand why you wouldn't want to.
Hi Barb! I don't blame you! I would hang on to that top one also! Looking at it makes me want it for my sewing room!! The second one would look good anywhere!! I was scrolling through your posts and I too love Alexandra S books; also have several and they are the only ones I read over and over!!! Love her outlook on life! ReplyDeleteStripes! A woman after my own heart. I love stripes. And polka dots and big, blowsy rose prints. Always enjoy visiting your blog. It's very restful. I admire your great sense of calm and how you project it into your home.

Lovely chairs, and Really like the pillow on the second one, nice soft colors...
ReplyDeleteI love your two chairs. I have one that was my grandmother's that I covered in a red bird toile which is now one of my all time favorites. What would we do without our chairs?
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet idea!
ReplyDeleteBarb... Thanks for your visit!!! and I would never let that sweet top chair go either! I have about 10 places I could put it! I found a chair yesterday at a consignment shop that I did NOT get, A Pink stripped rocker with carved roses on the arch of the back. I'm kicking myself for not getting it...It was really expensive and I knew I would feel quilty every time I looked at it and thought of how much $ I had to pay for it....It was so cool! Oh well..I'll just look at your cute little chair instead! xoxo~Kathy@ Sweet Up-North Mornings...
ReplyDeleteOh, I love both of these..I've not seen chairs this small.?? wonder why?
ReplyDeleteThese chairs are beautiful, Barb!!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea. I usually just put a faux plant or such to cover a bare spot - like your idea better.
ReplyDeleteGlenda

ReplyDeleteHi Barb! Oh, what precious little chairs! I adore the first one! What a cute idea!
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a great weekend!
Be a sweetie,

Too cute! I have a walnut wooden child's chair that I have used over the years in a variety of settings in addition to really tiny ones that I use all about the house nestled in here/there...one holds a collection of my teeny tiny books atop the hutch on my desk.
ReplyDeleteHi Barb,
ReplyDeleteI especially like the first chair. It looks like the perfect spot to curl up with a good read!
Cathy
Good morning, dear one.
ReplyDeleteThank you for coming by today..I love seeing that you visited.
Hope your Sunday is blessed and happy. We woke up to the most delightful rain this morning and it is all I can do to keep from running thru it!! So seldom we have it out here in West Texas. I love it so much..I need to live somewhere where it rain, just a bit, every single day...ummmmm!!
Well, how cute! I hadn't thought of that.
