Accent Chairs

I thought you might enjoy seeing a couple of my children's accent chairs. I have been collecting them for years and they are all over the house. I love how they soften a corner or a tiny spot that is difficult for a large piece of furniture to fit in.

These two are my favorites and I wouldn't take anything for the top one. I just adore it!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend.

  11. Stripes! A woman after my own heart. I love stripes. And polka dots and big, blowsy rose prints. Always enjoy visiting your blog. It's very restful. I admire your great sense of calm and how you project it into your home.

  13. I love your two chairs. I have one that was my grandmother's that I covered in a red bird toile which is now one of my all time favorites. What would we do without our chairs?

  14. Barb... Thanks for your visit!!! and I would never let that sweet top chair go either! I have about 10 places I could put it! I found a chair yesterday at a consignment shop that I did NOT get, A Pink stripped rocker with carved roses on the arch of the back. I'm kicking myself for not getting it...It was really expensive and I knew I would feel quilty every time I looked at it and thought of how much $ I had to pay for it....It was so cool! Oh well..I'll just look at your cute little chair instead! xoxo~Kathy@ Sweet Up-North Mornings...

  16. Great idea. I usually just put a faux plant or such to cover a bare spot - like your idea better.

  19. Too cute! I have a walnut wooden child's chair that I have used over the years in a variety of settings in addition to really tiny ones that I use all about the house nestled in here/there...one holds a collection of my teeny tiny books atop the hutch on my desk.
