Ready for Spring

The weather is lovely here in Florida.
I am ready to get outside and plant some flowers....we are still having a bit of cold weather here and there... so I am a tad nervous just yet about planting delicate little flowers. Everytime I pass a nursery of plants my heart beats a little faster.....so I know the day is coming!

I am outside redoing some things on the porch though...like the table above. How fun.........I love Spring.

YES...Spring is coming! I keep telling myself this every cold snowy morning I get up and look outside. I love Spring too because there is a real sense of "newness" that comes with Spring for me.

Ok you want to send me some of this warm weather. I am so ready for spring and to air out the house from all the ickies this winter.

Flowers and plants being planted is still a good 2 mos or more out for me here in the upper midwest.

Oh please, please send me that warmth.

Oh Barb,

We are loving it in your town.

Everyone is so friendly and kind.

Is there anything that you know of that we would make mistake to miss while we are here?

Feel free to email me at beckypfa (@) yahoo.com

I am READY for Spring! Around here, they say to wait til the week after Easter to be safe, but I always jump the gun and end up having to cover some flowers at night when the temps drop. Like you birdcage.

Gorgeous vignette, Barb! I wrote about spring today, too. Still a tad early here, but we're seeing a few signs.

I was just admiring your house pictures along your sidebar. Thanks for your kind words. Today was better, a little.

I've got a little spring fever, too, but we have a winter snow warning for Thursday. :( It's going to be a while.

I'll enjoy your spring weather vicariously while I wait. Thanks for sharing!

Oh Barb, I know that feeling of wanting to get out and work in the yard! It is still so cold here in Lawrenceville (northeast of Atlanta), so that will have to wait a bit. I'm from Florida and what a difference a few hundred miles north makes~~lol!
Your home is sooo beautiful, thanks so much for sharing~

we won't be able to plant till sometime in May. By the way, I love how your table looks.

I see sunshine in your picture! Can't wait for Spring! I think we are all sick of winter. I'm looking forward to planting flowers in the flowerbed.

What a pretty home you have. It is still freezing cold here in Michigan so it will be a while before we can get outside. Thanks for coming by, it is very nice to meet you.
