A Little Fall

 Hello All,

I am smitten with Fall and have started some minor decorating.

I always delight in bringing out my pumpkins. The Plush Pumpkins are my all time favorites...they are just so beautiful. I collect a few each year as they are pricey but that makes it even more fun to only know you will purchase two or three each year.

I placed a simple vignette on my entry table along with some old books. I have a passion for old books... especially the small ones and they are everywhere in our home.

We are getting tons of rains here in aftermath of the storm but the grass is green as can be and also soggy. Ha.

Thanks so much for your visit.

Getting Started

Okay, I have officially started my Fall decorating with a vignette on the kitchen island.

Because it is so hot, I will decorate gradually and really take time and enjoy it.

I started with this candy mix as it is so good and so easy. I couldn't find candy corn, and I looked at four different stores, so I used small spiced orange slices instead.

When I first saw this mixture, several years ago, I thought to myself....who would want to eat that?Yikes! It is hard to stay out of it. Delicious. Perfect combination of sweet and salty.

So, I would say my Fall decorating is off to a 'sweet start.'  :-)

Hope your day is going well.

Falling in Love

I'm falling in love with the thought of Fall and cooler weather.

I thought I would show a couple of images from last all haven't seen these. I'm not quite ready to decorate just yet.....still gathering my thoughts.

One of the first things I take out are my Byers Autumn Carolers....I have about ten of them and just scatter them everywhere. They truly make my heart sing.

I love apothecary fact, I am working on one, at present, with candy in it for Fall on the kitchen island....I will show you later if I can keep my husband out of the candy. Ha.

Although Thanksgiving is a long way off, my decorative things also come out for this holiday. They remind me to be grateful....I like that.

It is hotter than blazes here and the humidity is reeking. I hope you are managing to stay cool and enjoying the moment or drifting into the Autumn. It is all good!

Thanks for your visit!
